1. WHAT IS REDSYS Pinpad INTEGRATION?

REDSYS Pinpad is an integration that allows us to use our card reader terminal as an integrated pinpad with Revo XEF and Revo RETAIL.

This integration works with Comercia Global Payments (CaixaBank).

The required card reader terminal is the ITOS CM5 or ITOS CM35. Both models are suitable.

You can have as many devices as needed, as long as they are from the same bank.

IMPORTANT: It is not possible to integrate with different banks.


2. RECOMMENDATIONS AND WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN PERFORMING THE INTEGRATION

  • We recommend that the POS terminal has a fixed IP.

  • The POS terminal must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as other devices.

  • The timeout is 3 minutes.

  • Refunds must be made from the historic data in the Revo XEF app or Invoices in Revo RETAIL.

  • You must close the service from Revo XEF or Revo RETAIL and then extract the totals. The service does not close automatically.


3. INTEGRATION SETUP

Note: The integration is done in the same way in Revo RETAIL.

To add and configure the integration:

1. Access the back-office of REVO.

2. Click on Integrations.

3. From the Add button, search for REDSYS Pinpad and click on Add.



4. Fill in the following information:



  • Active: Activated.

  • Name: Identifying name of the integration.

  • Test: Deactivated.

  • Devices: Add an identifying name for the device (key) and the IP of the card reader terminal (value).

5. Click on Save to confirm the changes.

6. Once the integration is added, open the Comercia payment application SmartPOS Comercia on your card reader terminal:



7. Go to the Payment section, enter an amount, and try to make a payment:



8. If the operation is Denied, check the credentials initiated in the Comercia application, and if necessary, contact your bank.
If the operation is Accepted, you can continue with the procedure.


At this point:

1. Open the Revo XEF or Revo RETAIL application on your device.

2. Click on the r of REVO in the top left of the screen.

3. Go to Integrations.



4. Click on REDSYS Pinpad.

5. Click on the name of the device configured previously during the integration creation.




You have now correctly configured your card reader terminal with the Revo XEF or Revo RETAIL app!


Therefore, if you try to place an order in Revo XEF (Revo RETAIL works the same way):

The payment will be automatically sent to the card reader terminal:



CHECK TOTALS

Note: This feature is currently only available for Revo XEF.

If the REDSYS Pinpad integration is configured and working properly, when closing the shift, the Card payment method will display the Get from Comercia button on the right side of the window.

This button allows you to retrieve the total amount paid by card directly from the payment terminal and automatically insert it into Revo XEF.

With the Get amount automatically checkbox enabled in the back office:

  • Enabled: When the shift closing window opens, the amount paid by card is retrieved automatically from the terminal.
  • Disabled: The behavior remains as before: you must manually press the Get from Comercia button for the app to query the terminal.
