Configuring Intouch Credits as a Payment Method or Discount



In the Intouch back office, we can configure whether we want credits/points to be registered as a Discount instead of a Payment Method.


STEPS:

  1. Access the Intouch back office and select General Settings.

  2. Go to the Payment Configuration section.

  3. Select the Credits/Points option.

  4. We choose the payment method we want: Discount or Payment Method. (Do not select the third option)

  5. The system will automatically register the selection in both Intouch and XEF.




Payment rate

The payment rate defines the monetary value of credits when a customer redeems them.

How it works:

The rate determines how many points are equal to a certain euro value.
If the rate is set to 100, then 100 points = €1.

Example:

A customer with 430 points uses them to pay in Revo XEF/SOLO.
With a redemption rate of 100, those points convert to €4.30 (430 / 100).
The €4.30 is automatically deducted from the total amount of the transaction.
